The sun was just starting to crest the trees of the forest and hitting the castle, it had not reached yet the windows into the boys dorms of Gryffindor house yet. Remus was awake though, he had startled awake because of the nightmare that he had been having, this was something that was not new a he had nightmares every night since he was six years old and he had been attacked by that man. He never told the others about them, he just let them be, and he just worked his way through them alone so that he did not worry the others about this. He got up, made his way into the bathroom where he cleaned up and got dressed for the school day, no one would be up yet so he knew that he could get down and get something from the great hall and then out onto the lawns. He cleaned up, dressed, grabbed his school bag and then left the room, walking quietly through the common room, he had his prefect badge on so he did not worry about anyone stopping him. He got through the door and then started through the castle, it was so quiet and he felt like his foot falls were as loud as a horse walking through the school.
He got down into the great hall where the breakfast was already set and ready and hot, he smiled as he sat down, built a couple breakfast sandwiches and then grabbed one of the jugs of juice as well. He then got up again as he saw some of the professors as he nodded his head to them out of respect. He then moved out of the front doors that were now open for the day, as he walked down onto the main part of the lawns. The grass was still slightly damn from the morning dew, he sighted he did not want to get his butt wet from the grass, so when he got to the place that he was going to sit he pulled his wand out and dried the area so that he could sit down, under a tree and he leaned up against it as he sat his things down. He rubbed his head a little messing up his hair as his mind was going back to the nightmare. It was just the same as always, running away from a large dark mass as it wanted to get him, and then his father being there and being ashamed with the fact that his son was a werewolf, and that his daughter the perfect child would always be better and good as well.
Remus rubbed his nose as he looked out into the grass, then got out one of the sandwiches and started to eat, he loved the calm that comes from being here and being able to eat away from the rest of the school and the others, so that they did not bug him about his nightmares again. He leaned back some more into the tree and closed his eyes as he ate and stayed calm as he just felt better being out here as well. Today was going to be a good day, it had to be a good day or he might just have a bad day again.

Sirius hated the sunlight when it hit the room and he growled as he attempted to roll back over and go back to sleep, but then he felt James pull the blankets off his head, "Bloody Hell Potter!" He snarled as he threw his pillow at him and sighed as he got up and got dressed, he hated this for fuck's sake. He got up and sighed heavily, as he started to get ready for the day he felt very grumpy today for some reason. He glanced over at James and Lily, fuckers were snogging again. "Do you have to do that James?" He asked as he walked away and down towards breakfast, he was grumbling the whole way down.
Upon getting to breakfast he grabbed a plate and walked out, he didn't even stick around to see who was in there. As he headed out to find Remus as he gave his teachers a slight nod before he moved outside, Sirius really did not want to be awake at the moment. "Hey Remus." He called as he walked down towards him and sat down uncaring of the wet grass as he sat down with him. "So you what you doing out here instead of inside?" He asked as he looked at him.

Remus was lost in the thoughts that he was having, and all that he hoped was that he could get through this day an not have a melt down, or a need to go hide out in the forest away from everyone. He knew that he should talk to the others, tell them about the nightmares that are going on, but James was always with Lily, and he did not know how to talk to Lily about things like that. Peter was, well who knows what Peter did when he was not around with them and Sirius.. He did not know if he could tell Sirius the things that went on inside of his head when he was not around with others. That and Sirius had his quidditch and he had other things, like he would want to bother him of all people with the thing that he had going on in his mind.
He looked up when he heard his name and aw that it was Sirius as he closed his eyes a moment, he had to not say something stupid, he had to be calm and cool. "Hey Sirius." He said as he smiled a moment at him. "Needed to get away for a moment, had... Had another one of my nightmares and thought being outside would be better then around a bunch of other people." He said as he sighed a moment, taking a chance to look at Sirius. "Also didn't think anyone would understand the mood." He added, as he took another bite of his sandwich as he looked at his best friend, and secret heart ake as well. His eyes were soft for him but then he caught himself looking too long so he looked down at his food.

Sirius didn't realize that Remus was lost in thought nor did he really care at the moment he was happy with his friend at his side. His favorite friend and frankly ever since James had started going with Lily he'd lost his ability to stand the man. He was in love with the woman and he was constantly yapping about her or snogging her or some other shit crazy thing. He sighed heavily and went to go to work once more with his food.
"You seem to be having a hard time today, your cycle ain't for another week or so." He said to him with a grin as he made a period joke with his friend. "Ah well don't worry about it too much whatever the nightmare was you can tell me, c'mon Remus who're you crushing on?" He asked as he looked at him with a grin. "I mean seriously man who's got you al bent out of shape for the last year you've been weird that Prefect badge going to your head?" he asked as he looked at him with a grin.

Remus laughed at the period joke, that was one that he had heard a few times but he always thought that it was pretty funny in the end, also it was something from Sirius. "Got about a week yes, and i just want to be moody sometimes thats just how i am well at the moment." He said as he shifted some, his mind was all over the place, but he was also thinking how it was so annoying to be around James and all he talked about was the fact that he got to be with Lily, not that he cared, because he did not like women, but just the fact that he got to be happy and have what he wanted in the end. He shifted some as he rubbed his eyes as he was tired and honestly could use a nap.
"You don't want to know who i have a crush on, and no the badge is not messing with me, It is more what's going on out there, out in the real world. People just disappearing and ending up dead, and here i have this crush and i want to tell him how i feel before something happens to either of us. What if i die and never able to tell him that i love him, though i do not think he feels the same way because not something would think he would be, but I cant help how i feel." He was the most honest n that moment then he had been all year.

Sirius smiled and laughed at the joke with him, happy to be with his friend and eager to spend time with him. "Well I mean it's not so bad for you at least." He said to him then nudged him, "Stop being moody." He said to him with a laugh as he looked at the man. He was not going to let him get away with being moody after all he had to make a move eventually right?
Sirius looked at him and sighed heavily, "Oh who is he?" He asked as he looked at him and then looked down slightly, "Yeah the world is pretty shitty but eh what's new?" He asked as he looked at him with a grin as then he relaxed a bit. He heard his words and stared at him, "Just tell me and I'll go tell him." He said as he looked at the man and then laughed softly as he looked at the man concerned and more than that focused on his new best friend who was not only gay but also a werewolf.

"Don't be moody, ok." He snorted with a laugh as he looked at his best friend as he shifted some with that as he looked at him. "The world is shity and we all have to live in it." He finished off his meal and then he took a long swig out of the jug then. He looked at him as he was working out how to tell him the things that were going on in his mind. "Well, you wont have to go far when you go off to tell the person that there is feelings there for him." He told him as he turned his head a moment to look back out to the forest, he knew where he could go and hide if this did not go well.
"You see, to be honest Sirius, I have honestly had a crush on you since the third year, but ive seen the way that you are around women, so at that moment I knew that there was never a chance because of a lot of things." He said as he looked down at his hand a he shifted. "But i cant die off in the world with out at least telling you how i felt even if there is nothing there, just thought that you should know about it." He told him as he moved his hands as they were shaking now and he just wanted to get up and leave and go to his hideing place. He just waited for what he knew was coming, they were best friends like brothers nothing more.

Sirius laughed a bit as he looked at him, "What I always found it that easy." He said with a grin as he looked at the man. Then he watched him even more confused, "Oh who is it?" He asked as he looked at him confused and a little bit worried that it was Severus or some shit and he'd have to give Remus no end of shit.
"What?" He asked as he stared at him in shock. "What?! Moony...I..." He couldn't process it as he looked at him stunned he cared greatly about him and this stunned him. "Ok Remus." He whispered as he turned and kissed him lightly, "I want to try but I know that this could go badly for us, for one most of our country views homosexual sex as illegal until we are 21 so no one can know how far our relationship goes." He said softly. "Among muggles I doubt wizards are any better."

Remus sighed as he was worried about all the things that could ever go wrong here. He looed at him a moment as he was laughing about that time of the month thing. "I think this one is going to be bad, i dont feel that good today, and if i am feeling it out this far then i know its going to be bad." He sighed a bit as he looked at his food and finished the drink that he had as well. "So saying now that if im a bit more uh hostile sorry." He told him as he looked at Sirius about wanting to make sure that he knew that he was sorry if he hurt him that night.
He then spilled his guts as he told him about the fact that he had feeling with him. "im sorry, I know i should have told you sooner." He said as he knew that he should have. He looked down when he was talking, but then he was kissed as he looked at him and then bit his lip a moment. "Would not tell anyone anyways, and wont let the world know about how we feel and what we do." He said as he moved his hand over and held onto his hand for a moment as he was hopeful that this worked for them. "I am scared about the war going on, and i jut want to make sure that you are always safe." He said and smiled.
